The Proven Superior Fiber! Why?

Breathability and Comfort
Wool fibers keep a pocket of air close to your body. The coil-shaped fibers naturally wick excess heat and moisture from your skin and create an optimal temperature zone for a good night's sleep. If you are too cold, your body shivers to compensate and it interferes with your sleep. If you are too hot, you will sweat which will make any other fiber damp and uncomfortable. Wool naturally traps heat to insulate you. But it does more than that. Wool absorbs water, but releases it into the atmosphere to evaporate. This means you will stay completely dry and comfortable no matter what the temperature. Cool in summer, warm in winter.
The Hohenstein Research Institute, an international textile research center, found 1½ times more moisture remaining in beds using acrylic blankets than wool blankets. Moisture not trapped in the fibers, but in the whole environment making you uncomfortable. The Australian Medical Journal found that people sleeping on wool turned 80% less than with other fibers. The less you turn, the deeper and more replenishing your sleep will be.
Hype-Allergenic
This wool is processed without the use of any harsh chemicals such as Chlorine or moth-proofing chemicals. Though a few people have a natural allergy to lanolin (an oil found in wool) most allergic reactions are caused by the toxic chemicals that are used to create wool garments or bedding. Wool also has a natural resistance to mildew. This is possible because wool is a natural wicking fiber. The wool fibers actually allow moisture to pass through without retaining any of the moisture in the wool itself. Mold and Mildew cannot survive.
Resiliency
Wool fibers have a natural "crimp" in them, which gives them a springy support that cradles your body. It has been used in hospitals to relieve pressure points. The fiber looks like a coiled spring - with permanent built in "memory". It returns to shape after stress. Bedding made of pure wool fill will not lose its shape, separate into lumps, or shift. Unlike down, which shifts into corners and bunches when wet, wool fill stays fluffy and evenly plump. Wool fill is so resilient it consistently outperforms synthetics such as polyester fiber fill. In scientific tests, wool recovered 95% of its original thickness when compressed. Synthetic substitutes recovered 67% to 79%. No matter how it is twisted, crushed, or pulled, pure wool fill springs back to its original lush thickness. This springiness keeps products eternally fluffy and soft - comfortable for a lifetime.
Bio-degradable
In this era of mounting concern about what to do with discarded products no longer of use, the biodegradable aspect of wool, as opposed to synthetic, is more important than ever. A wool comforter lasts for decades, and when the comforter finally gives out, because it is wool, it can be returned to the earth for natural recycling, or recarded and recovered for continued years of use.
Ecological
Wool fibers require no factory to produce. Part of wool's miracle is that it is self-replenishing. Unlike down, which is only harvested once in the animal's lifetime, wool replenishes itself each time the sheep is sheared, and continues to grow over the lifetime of the sheep. As a matter of fact, wool and milk from free-grazing sheep can provide organic farmers with a modest income.
Flame Retardant
Wool bedding is the safest choice because of its unique chemical structure and natural moisture content, wool is difficult to ignite. It merely chars, and won't flair up.

Care and Maintenance of Wool Products
Over time and use, natural wool fibers will compress about 40%, depending on the product.
Even then, they maintain that "cushiness" and resiliency that wool fibers are cherished for.
FOR TOPPERS and SHIKIBUTONS: In the initial 2 months its good to rotate and flip your pad weekly for even wear-if used nightly. After that, seasonal rotation and flipping is good.
CLEANING:
Lay out your wool products in the bright sunlight seasonally, to let the sun do its effective natural sanitizing work. You can also spot clean your Wool-filled Products by spot washing any areas needed with mild soap and water. Do not immerse in water or use any machines to clean.
Wool products are often life long products. New Wool can be added by hand using the zippers in the case.
The Wool inside can also be washed and recarded by a wool mill to a new fluffy state. If you ever want to do that we can help you with that process.
The average customer does that every 7-10 years or so. New Wool can be also purchased to add to wool products.
Thank you! ENJOY! And TAKE CARE!
